Robert "Bo" Ewald
Chief Executive Officer
Bo Ewald joined SGI as CEO with over 25 years of relevant industry experience in the high performance computing markets. He is a seasoned industry veteran with a successful track record as a CEO. Prior to SGI, Bo was Chairman and CEO of Linux Networx, Inc. Earlier, Bo served as President of Human Resource Solutions of Ceridian Corporation; CEO of Scale Eight, Inc, a high performance network-clustered storage company; and President and CEO of E-Stamp. Bo also served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Silicon Graphics, Inc. (SGI), and President and Chief Operating Officer of Cray Research, Inc. Bo began his management career at Los Alamos National Laboratory as the head of its Computing and Communications Division. He is involved in various industry organizations and was appointed to the President's Information Technology Advisory Committee from 1997 to 2001.
Bo earned Master’s degrees in Civil Engineering and Applied Mathematics from the University of Colorado and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nevada.

Doug Britt
Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales
Doug Britt is Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales for SGI. Doug is responsible for driving the company’s bookings and revenue growth for SGI solutions across all of its product and services on a worldwide basis. In this role, Doug is responsible for the direct and indirect sales organizations, sales engineering and sales operations. He is responsible for overseeing the execution of the SGI go to market strategy.
Doug brings to SGI a track record for driving bookings and revenue and creating, integrating and executing strategies for sales, marketing and product development. He most recently was executive vice president of sales and marketing at Solectron, where he reported directly to the CEO and had full accountability for profit and loss, marketing, product marketing, account management, global program management, and corporate business development. While in this role, Solectron achieved more than $12 billion of bookings and revenue annually. Doug was responsible for growing business globally, building customer relationships and developing and overseeing the company's go to market strategies. Previously, as senior vice president of corporate accounts, he was in charge of Solectron's 10 largest customer accounts and was responsible for increasing global sales and managing customer P&Ls and strengthening customer relationships.
Before joining Solectron in 2000, Doug spent 12 years working in executive management roles with 3 value added resellers: Future Electronics Corporation, Sterling Electronics and Passive Technology Sales, Inc. Doug studied international business at the University of London and holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from California State University, Chico.

Eng Lim Goh, Ph.D.
Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Eng Lim Goh has been with SGI for 19 years, becoming one of the chief scientists in 1998 and chief technology officer in 2001. His tenure includes work in computer graphics algorithms and high-performance computing (HPC) architectures.
In 2005, the IDG publication, InfoWorld, named Dr. Goh one of World's 25 most influential CTOs. That same year, he was also included in the HPCwire list of "15 People to Watch." In 2007, Dr. Goh was named in "Champions 2.0" for the bio-IT industry by BioIT World magazine, and received the HPC Community Recognition Award from HPCwire.
He is a proponent of next-generation computer systems designed specifically for customer applications performance. To this, he advocates computational density and energy efficiency when integrating commodity components; and where appropriate, a balanced multi-paradigm approach, across a globally addressable memory, to architectural design.
In computer graphics, Dr. Goh's current research interest is in the relationships between human visual perception and visual computing. He has been awarded three U.S. patents in this field. He is also leading a small research effort to investigate application-transparent, massively parallel rendering.
Before joining SGI, Dr. Goh worked for Intergraph Systems, Schlumberger Wireline Netherlands, and Shell Research U.K. A Shell Cambridge University Scholar, he completed his Ph.D. research and dissertation on parallel architectures and computer graphics. He also holds a first-class honors degree in mechanical engineering from Birmingham University, U.K.

Nancy Hanna
Vice President, Human Resources
Nancy Hanna joins SGI as Vice President of Human Resources, with over 25 years of HR leadership experience, primarily in the technology sector, and ranging from large global organizations to start-ups. She most recently was the Senior Vice President for the Human Resource Solutions organization, Ceridian. Nancy was VP of HR in two education software firms, PLATO Learning and Sagebrush, and previously, spent several years with Cray Research and SGI, from the mid eighties through 1998.
Nancy serves on the Board of Directors of Royal Neighbors of America, the first organization to sell life insurance to women, and chairs the Compensation Committee. She is also a member of the board of Human Resource Executive Forum, and is a two-term chairperson and member of the Board of Cabrini Partnership, an organization committed to ending homelessness.
Nancy has a B.A. in French from Hamline University, and an M.A. in Human Development from St. Mary's.

Dave Parry
Senior Vice President, Server Products and Operations
Dave Parry, Senior Vice President, Server Products and Operations, joined SGI in1992. He is responsible for server product development and business management, and SGI's manufacturing operations and remarketed products teams. Dave has served in a variety of executive roles at SGI leading engineering and business management efforts for server, storage and remarketed products. Previously, as SVP of Engineering for SGI's High Performance Systems Development group, Dave led hardware engineering for MIPS microprocessors, MIPS processor-based systems, and Intel® Itanium® 2 processor-based systems, including the SGI® Origin® and SGI® Altix® families of servers.
Prior to joining SGI, Dave worked for MIPS Computer Systems, where he worked on the MIPS® R6000™ microprocessor and associated RC6380 server system. After SGI's acquisition of MIPS, he worked in various engineering and engineering management roles for the development of the Power Indigo2™, SGI® Origin 200®, SGI® Origin® 2000, and Gigabyte System Network™ (GSN™) programs.
Dave came to MIPS from Hewlett-Packard where he worked on high-end processor and server system design.
Dave holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Robert Pette
Vice President, Silicon Graphics Visualization Group
Bob Pette leads the Silicon Graphics Visualization Group, which is providing innovative solutions to help high-performance organizations work with rapidly growing volumes of visual information. In his 20-year career at Silicon Graphics, Bob worked directly with customers to design visualization solutions for industries ranging from aerospace design to energy exploration. Bob formed the Silicon Graphics Petroleum Technology Center to assist oil exploration, production and services companies with application benchmarking and development. That center established a model that has since been replicated for other key markets.
As vice president of SGI Global Professional Services, Bob expanded the Silicon Graphics' visualization practice via the design, development and implementation of Reality Center environments, simulators, CAVE installations, and immersive auditoriums for the Louisiana Immersive Technology Enterprise, Air Force Research Laboratory, ADRIN (part of India's Department of Space), Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd., Sikorsky Aircraft, and several energy companies and automakers. Throughout his career at Silicon Graphics, Bob has held positions in Systems Engineering, Application and Solutions Development, Customer Benchmarking, Customer Services and Services and Sales Operations.
Bob received his B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Tech and his B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Tampa.

Irene Qualters
Senior Vice President of Software
Irene Qualters is Senior Vice President of Software. An industry veteran with a successful track record that spans more than 20 years, Irene has led software design and development with leading systems, software and end-user organizations.
Irene is an established technologist and executive who rose through successive levels of leadership positions at Cray Research, where she was eventually named president of the company. She later moved to SGI, serving as senior vice president until leaving SGI in 1998. She then joined the end-user community as a visiting scientist at NASA/Goddard Flight Center.
Following NASA Goddard, Irene joined Merck & Co. as IT vice president for the pharmaceutical giant's global research labs. There she led the organization that provided IT and application services and support for the worldwide research community at Merck. Most recently, she led software engineering at AGEIA, a company that creates innovative hardware and software that applies breakthrough physics to the games industry.

Barry Weinert
Vice President and General Counsel
Barry J. Weinert is vice president and general counsel of SGI. He is responsible for its global legal organization and its public policy activities. Barry previously served as Associate General Counsel. He also serves as SGI's corporate secretary.
Prior to joining SGI in 1995, Barry spent 15 years as a corporate and civil lawyer in private practice.
He earned a bachelor of science from the University of California, Berkeley and a J.D. degree from the University of Denver, College of Law.

Greg Wood
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Greg Wood is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of SGI where he is responsible for managing the company's global finance organization, including finance, operations, treasury, information technology, and real estate.
With more than 25 years of financial leadership experience, Greg previously held CFO positions at Liberate Technologies, Intertrust Technologies, and other public and privately-held technology companies. Most recently he served as CEO of Pro Tools Solutions, a provider of innovative internet marketing solutions for corporations and non-profit organizations. A certified public accountant, Wood holds a B.B.A. in accounting from the University of San Diego, and a J.D. from the University of San Francisco.
