Stockholders may communicate with the Board generally or a specific director at any time by writing to SGI's Corporate Secretary at 1140 E. Arques Ave., Mail Stop 554, Sunnyvale, CA 94085 or by sending an email to the Board at boardcommunication@sgi.com.

You can report your concerns anonymously or confidentially. All concerns will be received and processed by the Corporate Secretary. If you provide contact information, you will receive a written acknowledgment upon receipt of your communication.

Concerns relating to SGI accounting, internal accounting controls or auditing matters will be referred to the members of the Audit Committee. Other concerns will be referred to the independent Lead Director of the SGI Board.

Because other appropriate avenues of communication exist for matters that are not of stockholder interest, such as general business complaints or employee grievances, communications that do not relate to matters of stockholder interest are not forwarded to the Board. Similarly, spam, junk mail, mass mailings, surveys, business solicitations and advertisements will be excluded, as will any material that is hostile, threatening, illegal or similarly unsuitable. Any communication that is summarized or filtered out will be made available to any non-management director upon request.
